KEEPERS OF THE SOUND: BUTCH WALKER
The Keepers of the Sound Series showcases pioneering artists who are authentic, uncompromising on quality, and always remain true to their core values. They work to create powerful, emotional experiences for their fans, and Klipsch strives to recreate the same experiences through our speakers and headphones.
Big Brother
Initially introduced in 1959, the Cornwall speaker was designed to serve as a larger, full-range alternative to the Heresy when used as a center channel speaker between two widely spaced Klipschorns.
Thus the Cornwall is likely to be the world's second commercially produced center channel speaker.
We Still Build Them Here
The little town of Hope, Arkansas is the birthplace of the Klipsch Cornwall III speaker. Assembled with cabinets handmade there since 1959, we are incredibly proud to continue this practice in the United States.
A Beloved Speaker
When the Klipsch Cornwall was discontinued in 1990, there was an outcry from consumers resulting in a letter-writing campaign and even a petition to bring back this storied loudspeaker. Obviously, we listened.
Better Than Ever
The third edition of the Klipsch Cornwall speaker is better than ever before. It boasts a three-way design using horn-loaded compression drivers for the midrange and treble and a direct-radiating 15-inch woofer for the low frequencies.
The Cornwall III now includes a riser-base, which was optional in previous versions and is available in a high-quality Black Ash, Cherry, or Walnut wood veneer finish.
Please note: Klipsch Heritage Series products are built to order, with cabinetry handmade in the US at our Hope, Ark. manufacturing facility. Choose "standard shipping" and allow up to 8 weeks turnaround time.
