Klipsch® Audio Rocks 70th Anniversary at International CES 2016

INDIANAPOLIS (January 5, 2016) — Klipsch Group, a tech-driven audio company, celebrates its 70th anniversary at CES 2016 by debuting its strongest, most technologically advanced and versatile product assortment in the company’s history.

Klipsch Group is focused on delivering innovative audio products that address the new ways consumer’s access, control and connect to content. This focus has led to the incorporation of content access, control and distribution technology, the integration of digital connectivity, both wired and wireless, and our continued mandate for high definition and high-resolution solutions. Numerous wireless, distributed audio, portable and limited edition anniversary speakers, as well as a new line of premium in-ear and wireless headphones will be featured. Available for active demo will be the Klipsch Reference Premiere HD Wireless speaker system, delivering high performance audio that is simple to set-up and use. These award-winning speakers feature the same Reference Premiere acoustic platform that Klipsch is known for and combine it with an HD Control Center for lossless, wireless audio transmission. Through the use of state of the art WiSA technology, not a single detail is lost from the source to the speaker. With free ongoing upgrades, quick and simple set up, as well as the ability to expand the system over time from 2.0 to 7.2 channels, the Klipsch Reference Premiere HD Wireless speakers deliver a lifetime of high definition sound.

Making their CES debut, and designed with power, performance and simplicity in mind, the R-15PM powered monitors cater to the way people access and listen to music while maintaining the core Klipsch design and acoustic principles. The Klipsch Reference Premiere R-15PM powered monitors were designed for simple set up in minutes to a turntable, television, computer or wireless device. Its integrated phono pre-amp, Bluetooth® wireless technology, digital optical, analog RCA and USB audio inputs make it a versatile audio solution. Klipsch will also offer a retro-designed pair of bookshelf speakers that are inspired by the Heritage series and equipped with the same technology feature set as the R-15PM.

Klipsch will add the new LS Landscape System and KDA Digital Amplifiers to its custom installation offering in 2016. This series delivers acoustic superiority, ease of installation and the versatility of 70 volt or low impedance capability, making it simple to build the right system for any outdoor living space.

Klipsch will also introduce five new soundbars at the show, all with HDMI connectivity. Several models will use Play-Fi™ wireless technology for premium, multi-room, and wireless streaming audio and control. A Klipsch Reference Premiere theater bar will also be introduced.

Ten new Bluetooth® wireless technology speakers will also be shown at the booth, revealing both modern and retro designs as an homage to the brand’s rich history and 70th anniversary.

Following the launch of an entirely new line of supremely comfortable, high-fidelity in-ear monitors and a new in-ear flagship series, Klipsch will introduce a full portfolio of wireless headphones in 2016. Adding to the Klipsch R6 in-ear Bluetooth, the upcoming derivatives will use new form factors, combined with Klipsch’s legendary acoustics and patented oval ear tips. Other new models include the Klipsch Reference on-ear and its first-ever Reference over-ear Bluetooth headphones.

Adding to the excitement is the introduction of the Jamo digital series, a line of contemporary designed, high-performance speakers or everyday lifestyle applications at attainable prices. Models include a combo bicycle Bluetooth speaker light, portable IPX5 water resistant go-anywhere Bluetooth speaker and powered stereo speakers, among many others.

And to commemorate its 70th Anniversary, Klipsch has handcrafted a limited edition run of is legendary Klipschorn and Heresy speakers. Special attention has been paid to the details of these speakers, as each model will be finished in exotic wood veneers with special edition logos and unique grille cloths.

Klipsch will also celebrate its strategic partnership with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum by showcasing 50 Years of Rock posters throughout the booth. As the presenting sponsor of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum, Klipsch products are installed throughout the museum, bringing the live music experience to the exhibits and its Main Stage. Klipsch is also the title sponsor of the Rock Hall Induction Ceremony, which just announced its 2016 inductees: Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, N.W.A and Steve Miller.
