"I Need That"

Recent #MondayShowcase winner Stephan Kruif became inspired to give Klipsch a shot when he saw an ad for a 7.1 home theater system. “Then, I thought, I need that,” he says. We had him tell us about what inspired his killer home theater setup.

The first thing I bought was the RP-600M and was immediately thrilled. After that, I bought the first subwoofer, the R-115SW relatively quickly and then I could not stop. The sound of Klipsch speakers is really special, plus they look very classy.

The two floorstanding speakers RP-8000F I bought together with the center speaker RP-504C to upgrade to 5.1. Each new speaker has upgraded the system, but I'm still most excited about the R-115SW.

Unfortunately, I had little space for the subwoofer through my TV wall at the time. But, the love for the R-115SW won. I bought a second and have rebuilt my living room - the best decision ever!

For the home theater update, I bought the RP-500SA Dolby Atmos surround sound speakers, which I also want to buy for the rear, with the goal of creating a 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos home theater system.

My first impressions of Klipsch were the RP-600M bookshelf speakers. To listen to them for the first time, I connected a CD player to the AV Receiver with an original CD to get the best possible audio quality. I was speechless - the first CD I picked was “Holy Hell” from The Architects - I got goosebumps.

Since then, I have often listened to songs I love, but suddenly they sounded very different with Klipsch. It’s hard to describe, but the quality of the speakers and the audio file make a lot of difference.

Since my father gave me “The Black Album” by Metallica (I was about 12), I mainly listen to rock/metal but since the two R-115SW subwoofers live with me, I'm also enthusiastic about Frenchcore by Dr. Peacock.

FInally, my good friend and neighbor Mike who lives across the street always reports back that he feels a slight vibration in the walls from my Klipsch subwoofers.

“The saying, ‘Pissing of the Neighbors’ fits perfectly!”

But not only for music the speakers are perfect, but also for watching movies. That's why I bought the rear and Dolby Atmos speakers.

Also, when playing X-box for example, “Call of Duty” feels like you are on the spot, in the middle of the action.

I have already recommended Klipsch speakers to others and will do so again and again with a clear conscience. What distinguishes the speakers for me is an incredibly beautiful and unique sound that I have not heard before.
