Bernardo, who previously served as senior vice president of sales and operations for Klipsch Group Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), assumes the role following a career of operations management that includes eight years with the company.

“Oscar brings nearly 30 years of operations experience to our leadership team and has earned the reputation as a trusted and respected leader throughout his time with us,” said Paul Jacobs, CEO of Klipsch Group. “In addition to controlling our inventory during the recession, he has spent his recent years face to face with existing and potential customers who serve the European, Middle Eastern and African markets. Proving invaluable will be Oscar’s in-depth knowledge of both the challenges and opportunities facing our company and industry each day.”

Since joining Klipsch Group in 2006, Bernardo has occupied numerous senior level management roles and played an integral part in communicating the company’s mission and vision with its global partners. Shortly after joining Klipsch Group, he was promoted to senior vice president of operations. Most recently as senior vice president of sales and operations for the EMEA sector, he was responsible for all aspects of business involving the Klipsch, Energy and Jamo audio brands throughout 19 countries spanning three continents.

“After many years and noteworthy industry experiences, it is an incredible honor to continue my work in this new position alongside individuals that have earned my utmost respect both personally and professionally,” said Bernardo. “Klipsch Group possesses great opportunity for growth and success, and I look forward to playing a role in our company story as we continue to make waves with new and existing product lines and categories.”

Alongside CEO Paul Jacobs, he looks to carry out the company’s current vision that will result in numerous new product launches in 2014. These launches include home separates, commercial and personal audio products from Klipsch, home separates and subwoofers from Jamo, as well as passive speakers and soundbars from Energy. For the long term, he will be focused on performance excellence within the company to build a more profitable, sustainable and scalable entity.
