Detailed Description

A note about iPhone 3G: This product is unable to charge the new iPhone 3G due to a change in voltage. We are currently developing a compatible revision, scheduled for release this fall.

Providing the accuracy, detail and output you'd expect from Klipsch, the compact and stylish iGroove not only accepts and charges all dockable iPods, it also works with the Nano, Shuffle, a variety of MP3 players and other audio devices using the included dock adaptors.

A true two-way audio setup, the iGroove features dual 2.5-inch fiber-composite woofers in a ported enclosure, dual 1-inch MicroTractrix™ Horn-loaded tweeters and a built-in iPod dock. To ensure an optimal and precise dispersion pattern, the exclusive MicroTractrix Horns are formed into the speaker baffle, a design that offers the lowest diffraction and maximum release of energy into the listening area.

In addition to easily bringing your favorite music to life, the iGroove is also extremely simple to operate. The system is ready to perform as soon as you plug it in and dock an iPod. The included wireless remote control allows interaction with both the iGroove and iPod.

Available in a sleek silver finish, the iGroove is designed to fit your lifestyle. It has an aesthetic flair that nicely complements almost any room's décor. In other words, you get cutting edge sound from a cutting edge package.

By adding the iGroove to its iPod-solution offerings, Klipsch is providing yet another way for music lovers to significantly enhance their digital music collections. So, are you ready to get your iGroove on?

Note:  The power adapter and power cord are included with a new unit.  If you need to replace them, they are sold as two separate parts.  You can find them in the related items section of this page.

Reviews

"The Klipsch iGroove is a smart buy for anyone looking for quality, power and convenience for playing music for their iPod."
- Bill Catambay, Mac Guild [4/1/2006]

"Compared with the Bose SoundDock, the iGroove has richer bass and cleaner sound, holds the iPod more securely, is easier to carry, and is $50 lighter on the pocket book."
- Bill Catambay, Mac Guild [4/1/2006]

"... it's the perfect choice for anyone who wants to entertain a roomful of guests without having to break out the CDs."
- Brian Heater, LAPTOP [4/1/2006]

"The iGroove's sound is quite clear, even at maximum volume, offering up the most powerful low-end of all the system's tested."
- Brian Heater, LAPTOP [4/1/2006]

“It is a solid performer and I can recommend it without hesitation. If you are in the market for a good looking, good sounding, luggable iPod speaker system, do yourself a favor and audition the iGroove. You'll probably love it!”
- James King, Bona Fide Reviews [2/1/2006]

“The iGroove passed my tests with flying colors. For its compact size, it is a great musical performer. The overall sound was smooth and musical, never harsh or grainy.”
- James King, Bona Fide Reviews [2/1/2006]

"Pure music. Loud music. Great dynamic range. That's the iGroove...they will beat the pants off of ultra-portables and most computer speakers. They hold their own against the Bose SoundDock, offering slightly deeper bass and greater dynamic range in the process."
- Lisa Gade, MobileTechReview [12/1/2005]

"We started our evaluations in earnest with some Simon and Garfunkel's tunes and the Klipsch iGroove sounded pleasantly natural. Their soaring vocals, the guitars, and the band on the Bridge Over Troubled Water album sounded great."
- Steve Guttenberg, CNET [12/1/2005]

"...considering its modest dimensions, the iGroove generates surprisingly satisfying bass without exaggerated boominess or thickening."
- Steve Guttenberg, CNET [12/1/2005]
